Love grows on the battlefield like violence in Apex Legends , as the game's charismatic characters continue to resume season after season. Diversity has always been at the heart of Apex 's character development, and we see it most prominently in the ecclesiastical - and exciting - relationships between the two.
At the start of Season 15, Apex Legends had four confirmed relationships in its history. However, of these, only a married couple remains together, and the other two seem to be somewhat separated. When we look at the clues hidden in the story, more and more couples grow up with potential romantic relationships in the future.
Here's a look at all of Apex 's church relationships and how they came about, as well as the pairings teased for future stories.
Apex Legends confirmed relationships
Valves and sniffer dogs
One of the most talked about pairs of Apex , Fuse, and Bloodhound surpassed the fandom during Season 8 and became the real deal in the radio drama that aired prior to Season 15. Respawn confirmed that Fuse is a sentimental person, and his chemistry with the non-dual resident Apex Hunter in the comic Armageddon got the boat going fast.
Over time, the two legends gradually converge, with the Bloodhound seeing some of Fuse's former Boone fans, and the Bloodhound seeing her as charming and reliable. In season fourteen, Fuse starts teasing the Bloodhound directly, and Wantage, the new kid on the block, soon realizes how disoriented Salvonia is as a stoic hunter on the Find Friends mission.
The sniffer dogs, realizing how close they were, were at first frightened and backed off from Fuse's advance, until Fuse was able to leave them alone in a woodland hunt to talk about. Here, Fuse is open about his attraction to her, with the shock and amazement of the Bloodhound, saying, "What do we have, my friend... I don't have feelings for anyone." The Bloodhound admits that they feel the same way, but are only afraid of love. They are calm enough to hug Fuse as he promised them, "I'm not going anywhere."
Wolf and Valkyrie
Luba and Valkyrie's relationship was born out of a series of chaotic circumstances. When the Valkyrie arrives at Apex Games in Season 9, Mount Olympus is besieged by deadly Medusa vines, destroying power lines, waterways, and even infecting humans with a deadly virus. One of the infected is Bangalore, Luba's current lover.
With only a few days remaining in Bangalore, Lobo and the other legends decide to find a cure. The Valkyries help local transport thieves who are constantly trying to seduce and thank them.
The attempt seems to have failed, but upon returning from the mission things start to change. In the head of Lobo Bangalore says Rampart and Gibraltar, Lobo and me? "We were just friends" in the hospital, which shocked and upset her, and seeing them both was a commodity. Although Bangalore later admitted that she feels differently, the damage has already been done and when she shows Valkyrie to Luba the next night, she happily accepts it.
Although the relationship initially started as an affair, Lobo and Valkyrie stayed together for the next few seasons and teased them in the game while Lobo tried to move gradually from Bangalore. Several paintings from Season 11 of The Show She Can't Refuse show her on a date at a night market outside the Olympics.
It remains to be seen how their relationship will unfold after the 14th season of the comics, as Valkyrie cuts a deal with The Revenant and reveals that the source code wasn't on the Gridiron as Lobo had previously thought. Lobo has proven bad at dealing with overconfidence, as evidenced by his eclipse of Bangalore for several months due to misunderstandings in Season 9, leaving the Valkyrie's fate up in the air.
Lobo and Bangalore
Like Fuse and Bloodhound, Loba and Bangalore are random bowls that received final confirmation in the canon only to end in tragedy. The pair started out as enemies in their quest for The Broken Ghost Season 5, but after revealing Loba's true intentions and past, Bangalore quickly becomes Apex Games' closest and most trusted ally.
The affinity of the association is illustrated by their various interactions between chapters VI and IX. This includes one that mentions that the Revenants went to a party, as well as Bangalore, the first person to warn Lobo when the Revenant says in Season 7 that he will destroy everything Lobo loves.
In Season 9, Lobo reveals his romantic attraction to Bangalore and sees it as an asset, although Bangalore seems reluctant to accept the date offer. This made Bangalore tell Rampart and Gibraltar that they were "just friends" so painfully for Luba that she heard Bangalore flowers being taken to hospital.
Only in the epilogue of Bangalore that Lobo lets get away with does he also have romantic feelings for Rhett, which are later expanded on in "Williams Sendoff" in the Chronicle, when Lobo recounts how "I shivered like crazy when I watched the first broadcast". From day one.
Their friendship after a misunderstanding and a "breakup" at the end of Season 9 was rocky to say the least, and they still harbor feelings of love and resentment for each other. The season 13 launch trailer shows that Bangalore has at least accepted its current status, focusing on her and the Valkyrie and making it clear that she will be there for Luba no matter what.
Gibraltar and Nico
Holding the title of Apex Legends ' first relationship and kiss, Gibraltar and Nick have been an epic romance since day one. Gibraltar is gay and teenage love interest Nick is about to rip his dad's arm off when they are caught stealing his dad's motorcycle and breaking his dad's arm. Nick lies to protect Gibraltar from the consequences and takes on the case, making Gibraltar the hero Nick always considered himself the same.
Over the years, their relationship has fallen apart, in part because of Gibraltar, and Nick has a child that he is trying to live after. In Season 7 of "Family Portrait," Gibraltar admits she wants to try to mend their relationship, but Nick is concerned about the chaos that might arise in her life when she and her son find stability.
The duo returned to the spotlight in The Boy Who Hated Gibraltar Season 9 when Nick's son Michael was injured by Medusa's vineyard and Gibraltar vowed to protect him at all costs. Nick cries in fear of losing Michael, and the two embrace again in the hospital, a sign that the scars of the past are beginning to heal.
Uncertain relationships in Apex Legends
Cryptography and Watson
The pair have been close friends since Season 5, but Crypto's loneliness and misunderstandings in "The Broken Ghost" when Crypto thought he betrayed the legend mean they have little chance of developing a closer relationship. Intimate It wasn't until Crypto revealed his real name and the truth about his past that he started believing in the seventh season of the audio drama.
Since then, the two have exchanged many interactions and stories indicating their closeness. Turns out Watson learned a lot of Korean - no doubt from his time in Crypto - and also helped him learn more about his sister and the syndicate.
The main clue that they might be a future couple came in Season 14 of "Like Friends," where Krypto's sister Milo admitted that Krypto "really loves her", to which Watson responded that Krypto would like to blush. Friends Mila also told him they were talking to each other to keep it a secret, but that was a huge part of the trust they both built last season, and that they would be honest with each other. In the end, keeping secrets led to him undoing, so there was no indication of how that would affect him in the future.
Jest and Watson
Despite being a fan-favorite ship, as the seasons passed, temptations and insinuations that Wraith and Wattson were developing romantic feelings for each other faded and other relationships emerged.
Season 6 contains one of the clearest clues about how close the two legends are, with the image of Watson's open table. He reveals that the ghost gave him a knife to fit his legacy. In addition to the photo with the father, a clear video clip of the two can be seen embracing in a photo booth. The final image has been scratched off on the reels as well, with the increasingly intimate nature of the previous three images suggesting that the deleted image may have been romantic.
The two talked a lot earlier this season about their shared experiences at Kings Canyon. The Pathfinder's Quest reveals that lives saved Watson from a major electrical fire in the early years before the Apex Games, although Watson was too stunned to correctly identify the "ghost" who saved him. It was then
As of season 8, these clues are gone from Apex . Since then, the two have not had any meaningful contact, and their past events diverge as Watson Crypto and Wraith help Bengaluru. In Quest in Season 14, Watson describes the Wraith as a "family" for the Vantage, potentially leaving the ship dead in the water when her relationship with Crypto is described differently in the same chapter.
