Miami Beach Art Basel opened in 2002. For more than 20 years, the fair has helped transform Miami from a beautiful beach town to an urban cultural destination. With so many installation competitions, parties, panels and public art exhibitions, it's becoming increasingly difficult to choose what to enter.
Even digital art events have grown significantly on offer. Since traffic and transportation options do not allow for improvisation, planning is essential. Below is a list of key events to help you get the most out of your Art Basel Web3 hosting in Miami Beach.

MakersPlace x Temporary Workshop
Five days full of exhibits, panels, activations and cocktail parties will draw the Web3 public to the provocative MakersPlace x Transient Labs at the Sagamore Hotel.

"Makersplace helped make the present of the crypto industry possible," said exhibitor Jack Kaido when I spoke with him, "and Transient Labs is making the future possible." I am excited to be working on my first physical CD and performing in parallel. A really strong list of artists at Art Basel Miami.”

Eight of the best generative artists are the protagonists of the exhibition Dimensionality organized by TENDER. This group exhibition at Untitled Art Fair features new works by Kubibi, Anna Lucia, Jack Lieberman, Licia Hay, Emily Edelman, Marcel Schwitlik, Corey Haber, and Aranda/Lash.
The design of the exhibition, from pastel drawings to gelatin silver prints, watercolor objects, black copper sculptures and embroidery on stretched canvas, seeks to disrupt preconceived notions of digital art and the use of materiality in various forms.
Tender founder Adam Berninger draws on his long career in the art world to create a rich and innovative dialogue between form and function. According to the curator's statement, "The clarity of this group exhibition highlights the multidimensionality of each artist's work: organic microcosm, written ephemera, computational abstraction, contemporary digital craft, algorithmic structures and light itself." »

Around the study of human footprints, both tangible and intangible, thanks to modern technology.
The Moffat Compost range converts vibrant organic matter into mineral matter. Referring to JJ based on Ballard's novel The Crystal World , he offers photographic prints in which flowers, unable to exist in their organic form, become artifacts that lead to our barren future. On the other hand Feel by Nicolela, inspired by the sensuality of Japanese tentacles, consists of a series of moving images flowing into each other.
In "Reunion ", Chun Hua is shown wearing a VR headset that projects the Great Wall of China. Filmed in Quebec, the film points to the possibilities offered by the technology, which allows the simultaneous sensation of two spaces, one virtual and the other real. Sabrina Rutt's "Flowers" represent human traces in the environment, recalling the ruins of monuments.
Using multiple media such as video, augmented reality, photographic and 3D printing, Galerie Charlotte hopes to push the boundaries of contemporary art by affirming what it means to create in the present.

Artist catalog available from 5th December.
This list, although extensive, is by no means exhaustive. Near the coast of South Florida in December, new digital art events will appear. Indeed, a large number of targets can be boring to impress, and artist Alisa Christine's VR multimedia session can be an antidote to that.
"We live in a time where for the first time the impact of digital art can surpass the impact of physical work," artist Patrick Amon said in an interview about his participation in Makerplace Transient Labs. "Given the growing number of digital works and viewing options, as well as their migration potential, there will be no question as to which tool will reach the greatest number of people."
Judging by the many media events taking place at the Art Basel fair in Miami Beach, the digital art sun shone on a truly tropical December.
