Final Fantasy Is Coming To Apex Legends In Surprise January Crossover

It looks like Apex Legends will begin in earnest with the first big co-op in 2024 in January, and while no one expected it, it could be truly epic.

To celebrate Final Fantasy VII Rebith, the game enters the world of Apex on January 9 with three special skins inspired by the popular RPG series. These three skins are for Crypto, Wraith, and Horizon. Before you ask, yes, you can get Buster's sword.

In a 40-second trailer that was unveiled at The Game Awards on December 7, fans were treated to a look at these exclusive skins joining the game in collaboration with Apex x Final Fantasy , with Crypto being joined by Buster's iconic sword. It comes alive with a new shade of Apex style. Unfortunately, there were no more details about the collaboration, but the new skins look great, so we'll have to wait.

While this collaboration came as a surprise, it's understandable that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will accelerate its massive cycle as it gets closer to release. With the game coming out on February 29th, it makes sense to release it in January to get fans excited about what's to come. It goes without saying that 2024 will be an important year for Final Fantasy fans.

On the Apex front , with Disruption now available, players should have plenty to enjoy at the end of the year, and with this Final Fantasy collaboration on the horizon, there's more content to look forward to soon. If you haven't checked out the Apex Uprising event yet, you can take part in the Revenant Uprising Limited Mode until January 1st. There are also many new looks that you can try if you want to take a short vacation. .
