Kill Code Part 2 Teases Revenant Reborn In Apex Legends—and An End To His Glitches

If you're dead, what's left? That's the question The Revenant will tackle in Apex Legends , as the second installment in the Kill Code series released today finally confirms the Legend's remake for the 18th season commonly referred to as "The Revenant Reborn."

Kill Code's second half begins and ends with the Revenant happily cutting and making his way through his meaty opposition at the start. However, as he continues to bounce from game to game, his abilities begin to fail. This includes his death totem refusing to properly enter Earth at all costs, forcing the Revenant to hunt down fragmented memories to find out what happened to him.

As for the game, there's a lot going on in the Revenant's shattered memory: his creation, the murder of Loba's family, his contract with Valkyrie when she tried to get him to leave Loba on his own, and more. But with the Revenant hunting down Crypto in the final scene of the trailer, it's clear that the star of the show will be the Revenant and its new look and primal abilities.

As a character, we don't have to worry about Revenant opening up next season to try and recreate him if they haven't already. Both Respawn and EA confirmed this on the front pages of the official Awakening season, or the 18th season for the one that follows. However, players will need to unlock it permanently by "completing missions" if they want to keep it unlocked after the end of Season 18.

Many fans hope that it will be the new Revenant that will capture the attention of players better than the previous version. Despite being an integral part of the game's story, great graphics, and great character launch, it's been at the bottom of the character selection category for a few years according to the status of Apex Legends .

In fact, the only significant increase in his pick rate that occurred over that time was during the Genesis group event in 2021, where the Revenant accepted his legacy. Beyond that, the Revenant is mostly a weak character with an insane ending (which Kill Code Part Two evokes perfectly).

With the Revenant remake being the focus of the new season it seems to be a bit lighter in terms of content than the previous couple however the rating system will change and the Mixtape mod will come to Broken Moon how exciting is the new Revenant la is its gameplay will likely determine how engaging the base is For regular players in the game with the new season.

The eighteenth season of Apex , Resurrection, will be released on August 8th. The season trailer will be released this weekend, August 3.
