The winner of a new art competition hosted by Binance will see their artwork on the helmet of Alpine Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 26, 2023.
Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced a helmet design competition that will determine the winners to be used as illustrations for the helmets of 2020 Italian Grand Prix winner Gasly.
Gasly described the partnership with Binance as an opportunity to “engage creatively and innovatively with the F1 community and cryptocurrencies.” Participants do not have to be Binance users, they should expand their activities to also include non-cryptocurrency F1 fans. The helmet design deadline is September 8th and the winner will be announced on September 15th.
According to the cryptocurrency exchange, helmet designs that reflect Binance's values and innovative spirit while attracting the motorsports community are more likely to win the competition. gasly said:
“I look forward to showcasing the winning design, which will showcase our shared spirit of innovation and help me compete in the prestigious Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.”
The winner will also receive a copy of the helmet signed personally by Gasly. Binance has also partnered with other celebrities such as football legend Cristiano Ronaldo and major football clubs to help improve fan engagement.

Despite major regulatory hurdles hampering the Binance platform, the cryptocurrency exchange continues to partner with celebrities to remain in demand among cryptocurrency investors.
On August 21, Binance announced its partnership with legendary singer The Weekend to host a Web3-sponsored concert tour - After Hours Til Dawn.
Fans in Australia will be introduced to two non-fungible tokens (NFTs): Souvenir NFT and Tour NFT, which will open up new ways to interact with The Weekend. As part of the deal, Binance pledged to donate $2 million to The Weeknd XO humanitarian fund.
