Japanese Film Studio To Produce A Movie Series Based On Crypto

A Japanese film studio will create a series based on Crypto

A film studio has announced that it will produce three films that will focus on the cryptocurrency market and use fiction to raise awareness and understanding of the cryptocurrency industry.

Japanese film studio Noma has announced the production of three feature films dedicated to the cryptocurrency industry. According to Taichi Ito, founder and creator of the Noma series, the threefold goal is to raise awareness of the cryptocurrency industry through fiction. He's optimistic about how The Rhetoric Star will "change" the way audiences learn about cryptocurrencies.

The first film, titled Stars of Rhetoric, is currently in production and is scheduled for release in 2024. The second film in the series will be the animated film in the Opus series chronicling the production process of the upcoming Star of Rhetoric. in 2024. Details on the third film will be released later in 2022.

The series is produced by Ryo Nakatsuji, CEO of Japanese publisher CoinPost, and Mai Fujimoto, CEO of Tokyo-based blockchain company Gracon. Japanese artist Haruna Gozu, who has worked on popular animated films such as Pokemon, Fairy Tail and Demon Slayer, will direct the animation.

The renowned sound designer and Bitcoin expert Sefi Karmel is also part of the team. The team's goal, according to Sefi Carmelos, is to create a series of works that convey the opinions of cryptographers around the world in a "creative and accessible" way. He expressed appreciation for the opportunity to work with the team and excitement at how the world is moving towards a "virtual future dependent on blockchain, cryptocurrencies, NFTs and more."

Earlier this year, international cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase also announced the launch of a “three-part film” based on the Bored Ape Yacht Club brand.
