Tess Renerson, Twitter's chief cryptographer, left the company late Thursday night to symbolize her departure by posting a greeting and a blue heart emoji on Twitter.
Rynarsson, whose Twitter profile is now private, lives in Berlin, Germany and has been on Twitter for just over a year, according to his LinkedIn and Twitter profiles. As of this writing, Rinerson has not updated his LinkedIn profile to reflect his departure from Twitter.
" I'm very proud of what the Twitter crypto team has started, and I'm sad that I won't be able to see it ," Ryanerson wrote Friday. But there are still so many wonderful, thoughtful people at the company, and I 'm always there to support them .
The former Twitter employee also updated his Twitter bio to read "Don't hit the Twitter button," a reference to new CEO Elon Musk's insistence that any employee who wants to stay and Twitter's new " very strict " culture must print "yes." Form by Thursday evening.
